Want to do research as an undergrad?
We're volunteering at Berkeley this week to help STEM undergrads land their first research position during their first few weeks on campus. We got into research by working on side projects while in university and sending them to PhD students and professors we wanted to work with. Similarly, we'll work with you (for free) to build a free project that helps you land your first research position within the next couple weeks.

We're meeting with undergrads every day this week, so if you'd like to learn about undergrad research at Berkeley and get started on a project to build up your resumé and begin doing research with a professor, we'd love to chat! We can also get you set up with $25 of Claude Code credits to help you build your first project!
Book a time for an in-person chat with us on campus this week. We can grab coffee and
- 1.find some interesting labs and professors you'd like to do research with,
- 2.pick out a cool project you'd like to start building to impress a professor,
- 3.help you begin building the project from scratch using Engelbart, our open-source AI creation tool for student researchers.
This is totally free, we just want to see more people get into research early on :)
